Our Blue River homie James Dean Murphy stopped by for a few day of whistler riding! We’ll be cruising back thru with him, so stay tuned for some antics.

Between opening the Opening Ceremonies at the Olympics, and building a progression playground for the super pros at Vail, the Katal crew has been running full steam this winter.  Check out Jake Blauvelt, Andreas Wiig, and Travis Rice tryin’ some new loop-dee-loops.

Lucas works for Steve Petrie at Arena SnowParks, and got invited to help build the Olympic halfpipe.  Perk’s of the job?  The best seat in the house.

Flin Flon Locs

so Kyle and I decided to take a trip down from Calgz to Fling Flong,Manitoba cuz we wanted to go somewhere no one would ever think of going just to see whats down there.We had no idea what to expect,and we had no idea if we would even find anything. We found many grindz and many gnar/kewl spots. We brought two groms with us, Matt Munn and C.O.P Loc Joe Hills. (”joe hills is legit. dan zimmerman is a grom”- matt munn(Go buy a meat magic t-shirt).

We hit up the local 7 stair,the Royal Motel,and the ditch at 120km (Don’t let Kyle play with his dvd player when he’s driving haha).The locals were super nice and the kids were hungry for stickers.We all got so hurt but,we only have a few days left before we all have to go back to school/work so advil in the morning and hammas allll day.We’re finishing up in Saskatoon now staying at Garrett Kendel’s.

Here’s a video of me having a good time in my backyard with some buddies. This is the first time I’ve done any filming this year because I had surgery on my knee in December. I’m starting to feel more comfortable on a board every time I go out though and plan on getting some clips for the video right away.
